Having missed Christmas, I've completed most of the socks for my nieces and nephews in time for the rash of winter/spring birthdays in the family. I sent off one pair already and blocked these three pairs over the weekend. Only one pair left to do, for an October birthday (i.e. no time pressure), so when I get around to it, I think I'll try the knitting-two-socks-at-once thing to spice things up. I know this pattern pretty well by now...
